An exciting new collaborative project, funded by a Wellcome Discovery Award, is starting in Rick Maizels’ lab, together with leading figures in the area of helminth immunology (Henry McSorley, University of Dundee and Hermelijn Smith, Leiden University Medical Center) and in the field of TGF-β research (Andy Hinck, University of Pittsburgh, and Peter ten Dijke, Oncode Institute, Leiden University).
The grant, entitled “‘Redirecting TGF-β signalling, inspired by adaptive evolution of parasite mimics.” starts at the beginning of 2025.
